We review our childcare fees annually and they are updated in line with the financial year. Every effort is made to keep fees to a minimum. Details of current fees can be found in Blacktown City Council’s Goods and services pricing schedule, available at:

2.1. For Long Day Care enrolments, a non-refundable enrolment fee is charged per family.
2.2. Parent 1 is responsible for the payment of all child care fees.
2.3. Fees paid weekly, must be paid and up to date in the current week of care. Where fees are paid fortnightly or monthly, fees must be paid in advance.
2.4. Fees are payable for every day the child is booked into care, including days the child is not able to attend due to sickness or holidays. For absences over the 42 allowable absences per financial year, Child Care Subsidy will not be paid unless the relevant evidence is provided as per the approved additional absence reasons. 2.5. Fees are not payable for NSW public holidays or when the centre is closed. Long day care, OSHC services and Preschool services usually close for a period of 2 weeks during the Christmas period (depending on Council approval).
2.6. Late fees apply and are charged to your account for late collection of any child after the closing hours of the selected session of care, regardless of circumstances. Continual lateness in collection of child could result in their position(s) being withdrawn.
2.7. Direct Debit is the preferred method of payment, alternate payment options are Bpay and POST Billpay. A receipt may be requested as evidence of payment for Bpay and POST Billpay however, due to payment processing times.
2.8. Your child’s position may be withdrawn due to non-payment of fees.
2.9. An SMS will be issued for overdue accounts, you may also be contacted via phone or email by the Customer Service Team to discuss your account.
2.10. Vacation care and Before and After School Care (OSHC):
2.10.1. Before and After School Care (OSHC) and Vacation Care bookings are made in the CCMS Software parent app.
If you book sessions of care via the CCMS parent app, direct debit must be enabled for your service and a credit card needs to be added to the parent profile.
Fees are not payable at the time of booking for any OSHC or Vacation Care sessions of care..
2.10.2. Before and After School Care bookings can be made by the parent via the CCMS software app up until the session start time.
2.10.3. Vacation Care bookings can be made by the parent via CCMS software app up to 48 hours before the session start time.
2.10.4. Vacation Care bookings require 7 day's notice for cancellation without charge unless a medical certificate is provided.
2.10.5. OSHC bookings require 48 hours' notice for cancellation without charge. Bookings cancelled within 48 hours of the session start time will be charged at the full rate.

2.11.7. Absences that occur at the beginning or end of an OSHC enrolment or a Vacation Care period will incur full fee charges as Child Care Subsidy will not be paid for these absences unless the relevant evidence is provided as per the approved reasons. Information on absences can be found at:

2.10.8. No Show: Occurs when the child does not arrive for the booked session, the session will be charged at the normal session fee and an absence will accrue.
2.10.9. Casual Care: Defined as bookings made within 48 hours of the session start time. Casual care sessions cannot be cancelled.
